I have always loved a good marg on the rocks, but let’s be honest, they are far and few between. When you actually get a GOOD one, it’s more than likely from a nice restaurant. I am not a fan of the store-bought mix, something about it is cringe-worthy. So how do we get that high-end taste without leaving the house?
It’s SO freaking simple actually. I love this recipe and OMG it is delicioso. I hope you enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup lime juice(6-8 large limes)
1 Cup cane sugar
1 Cup of water
4oz Tequila (I use patrón silver)
4oz Triple Sec
INSTRUCTIONS
In a large pot add in your water and sugar on medium heat.
Let the sugar dissolve and stir well (set aside to cool down)
Juice your limes and add to a pitcher
Combine lime juice and sugar water
Add in your liqueur
Pour over ice and garnish with a lime slice
