BACK TO SCHOOL MUST-HAVES
Where in the world did summer break go?? I can’t believe school is starting back already… I feel like school just ended. Leighton is starting 3rd grade this year and I’m honestly in denial that my little girl is old enough to be a 3rd grader! To make the transition a little easier for all of us sending our littles back to school I wanted to compile all of our must-haves into one space. I hope this is helpful.

We love the Herschel backpacks, they are great for back to school at any age plus a great size for trips in the car or on a plane. We have them in a couple of colors but I am in love with this Ash Rose color for Leighton!
What we are putting on our kid’s skin every day definitely matters! We love using the Young Living thieves hand sanitizer because we know it’s made with safe ingredients that aren’t harmful to their bodies or stripping away the good bacteria but are actually helpful in building their immune systems.
This brand has been amazing! We have them in a couple of styles for the girls and they keep cold for the whole day. This one is great for throwing in the backpack
4. KIDPOWER
Leighton has some high emotions when it comes to school and honestly, it was hard to find anything that would calm her until we started using this essential oil blend on her every day before school. We don’t go a day without it now because I can watch as her fears and anxiety fade away in front of me within seconds! MUST!
5. LUNCH BAG
We have this lunch bag and it’s lasted Leighton three years so far! Now that she’s going into 3rd grade I might need to upgrade her to the solid color… It’s easy to clean and keeps things cool. It also comes in so many patterns for boys and girls!
6. NINGXIA RED
This little juice is not only delicious but is packed with immune-building ingredients that are plant-powered naturally! I love that I can send her with a packet that’s 2oz and know she’s gotten a massive serving of nutrients in just 1oz equivalent to… 93 apples, 814 blueberries, 59 broccoli florets, 73 medium strawberries, 100 oranges, 22 medium carrots,
55.33 lbs of almonds, 34 large onions, 10.85 lbs of spinach.
This is a must! After last year we realized this is something we want on us at all times especially our kids at school. This one has a pulley on it so there is no need to unclip it! Plus it comes in a pack of five with a variety of colors.
8. TUMMYGIZE
This essential oil blend is not just for kids! I use it daily even being pregnant…
I send this with her to school just in case she needs something to help her anxious tummy. It’s amazing for tummy aches, acid reflux, bloating, diarrhea, and throwing up.
We love these sneakers! She wears them all the time but they are perfect for school to wear outside or in the gym and super easy to slip on and she doesn’t have any trouble with them slipping off! I will definitely be ordering her another pair in another color!
10. REUSABLE BAGGIES
Okay, so this is a bang for your buck! Reusable baggies can get a little pricey for just a few but these are awesome because they come with so many bags plus straw and utensils! I love these because I hate hand washing anything and these are dishwasher safe!!
11. PROBIOTICS
I try to give the girls probiotics daily to help build their immune systems because 80% of the immune system is in the gut. I definitely don’t skip out on this during the school year because they are exposed to more than they usually would be.
